CUPIA Participates in International Conference on AI in Customs Administration in Kyrgyzstan

The Customs UNI-PASS International Agency (CUPIA) officially participated in the 2nd International Academic and Practical Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Customs Administration, held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The conference was organized by the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCS KR) with the support of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek.

CUPIA, invited alongside the Korea Customs Service, attended the event and delivered a presentation introducing the UNI-PASS system. CUPIA also held separate meeting sessions with the Kyrgyz Customs Service and OSCE representatives to review the current status of customs IT infrastructure and operations, while exploring opportunities for future cooperation.

During the conference, CUPIA strengthened its network with experts from various countries. These activities helped to widely promote Korea’s achievements in digital customs administration and technological capabilities, while expanding the foundation for cooperation in the Central Asian region.

Building on this participation, CUPIA plans to further consolidate practical cooperation channels with customs administrations and international organizations in Central Asia, and to continue follow-up discussions aimed at identifying ODA and multilateral cooperation projects.
